Organizations eligible to apply for an Impact100 Mobile grant must be:

  • Tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor (local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization).
  • Located in and serve residents of Mobile County.
  • Past Impact100 Mobile grantees must wait three years from the date of their award before re-applying.
  • Most recent three years of 990s and financial statements.

Grants will not be provided for:

  • Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding.
  • Individuals or private foundations.
  • Fees paid to a grant writer.
  • Activities that are political in nature.
  • Projects/programs which require participation in activities of a particular faith, denomination or religion in order to benefit from the project or program
  • Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general fundraising campaigns.
  • Funding proposals that utilize less than the full grant award.
